GENERAL EVENT STAFF
Venue Event Staff help maintain the safety and security of all staff, artists and guests. They also help set-up the venue prior to shows and take-down of the venue after shows.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring access control within the venue, to help ensure unauthorized individuals do not enter areas not permitted.
- Performing ticket-scanning/verification and directing guests to the appropriate venue.
- Identifying and removing any potential hazards to staff, artists, or guests.
- Identifying and addressing altercations between guests in a calm and professional manner.
- Leading artists and guests through any emergency evacuation procedures and providing related assistance and guidance.
- Performing bag checks, metal detection wanding, and behavior checks to prevent the admission of prohibited persons/items.
- Performing ID checks to ensure that guests are eligible for alcoholic service (i.e., over 21).
- Responding to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Enforcing house rules regarding such things as photography, interior smoking, line-jumping, and other disruptive guest behavior.
- Safeguarding the building and property within the building from theft and damage.
- Assisting in the set up of the venue prior to doors (e.g., setting up stanchions, furniture, barricade, trash cans, stocking restrooms).
- Assisting in the take down of the venue after doors (e.g., removing trash bags, storing furniture/equipment, mopping floors).
- Utilizing various equipment such as two-way radios and flashlights to communicate and coordinate with other event staff members.
Qualifications:
- Calm and patient demeanor
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work nights and weekends
- Flexible schedule
- Customer service experience
- Ability to read and write English fluently
- Ability to lift or move up to 25 lbs
- Tolerance for fast-paced, potentially loud and crowded environments
- For most positions, tolerance for prolonged standing and/or being on your feet
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors
- 21 years of age or older
Beneficial:
- Bi-lingual
- Experience recognizing valid ID’s
- Experience in a live music/club environment
- Experience using metal detectors and conducting bag checks
- Certified First Aid Training/EMT training
- Event security experience

PRODUCTION: RIGGERS & STAGEHANDS
Generations A/V, the production company for White Oak Music Hall, is hiring for riggers and stagehands.
RIGGERS
- We are looking for individuals with experience in concert Up Rigging and Down Rigging. Must have knowledge of the proper usage of ropes, knots, electric chain hoists, and motor control systems.
- Requirements:
- A keen eye for detail, safety issues, etc.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more.
- Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to be a loud environment with flashing lights.
- Must be comfortable with being high up in the air.
- Must be able to take direction and possess a pleasant attitude while working in a team environment.
- Need to have reliable transportation, a valid photo I.D. and be at least 18 years of age.
- Vaccinations are required by certain Artists/Clients.
- Hours are part-time and crews are scheduled on an event by event basis.
STAGEHANDS
- This position is responsible for load in, set-up, tear down of the show’s production.
- Duties Include but are not limited to:
- Unloading/loading the production equipment from artist’s vehicles.
- Setting up/Striking LED Walls, backline, light rigs, PA’s, risers, barricade, staging, etc.
- Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more.
- Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to be a loud environment with flashing lights.
- Must be able to take direction and possess a pleasant attitude while working in a team environment.
- Need to have reliable transportation, a valid photo I.D. and be at least 18 years of age.

SITE OPERATIONS
Site Operations Staff are primarily focused on set-up, take-down, and maintenance of the venue and venue assets. Main duties include:
- Performance of minor repair jobs at the venue (drywall, paint, basic carpentry, minor electrical, replacing of light bulbs, etc.)
- Maintenance of the area around the venue such as tree trimming, trash clean up, parking lot cleanup
- Set-up and take-down of venue assets such as barricade, tables, chairs, fencing, decking, traffic cones, etc.
- Construction/fabrication of basic site infrastructure
